Katy and Jeremy were married at White Oak Farm Venue in Michigan City, Indiana. This Northwest Indiana wedding venue is a combination of old rustic charm and very modern amenities. Have a look at the incredible chandeliers and architecture in the Cedar Barn and the way the Poplar Barn sits perfectly on top of a hill.
It truly has become a much sought after location to be married in a short amount of time. I think you will see why as I take you through Katy and Jeremy’s big day. It’s a property that was truly thought out with weddings in mind.
The bridal suite is attached to the Cedar Barn and is a spacious room adjacent to the main ballroom. There is also a magnificent loft that i took full advantage of for pictures.

Hair and make up were done in the bridal suite by The Designers Club with florals by Shadow Box Florist and I took Katy and her bridesmaids to the loft once they were dressed for additional bridal prep images and portraits.
Katy also read a letter from the groom that had snapshots of memories attached.

The guys got ready at the Groom’s Quarters which is a mini barn near the lake of the sprawling property. I took Jeremy away from the billiard table for a few minutes to read the letter katy wrote for him.

The outdoor wedding ceremony took place on the patio of the Cedar Barn with a lake to the left and an archway leading to beautiful greenery. A wonderfully picturesque scene for a wedding.

Guests walked over to the Poplar Barn for an indoor and outdoor cocktail hour while I did family group photos and wedding party.
I then took the newlyweds all around the property for pictures and delivered them back in time to play a round of cornhole.

Amplified Events provided the soundtrack to the reception in the Cedar Barn. Guests were first escorted toward the Poplar Barn where cornhole games and cocktails awaited.
Then we all went inside the Cedar Barn for dinner courtesy of Classic Catering and the grand entrance along with cake cutting, first dance and parent dances and then open dance floor.
I ended my photography for the day with a blue hour wedding picture at twilight of the happy couple dancing on the patio.
