When I walked into the Industrial Building at Lake County Fairgrounds for Shelby and Steven’s Fall wedding, I said “wow, this looks fantastic”. They and their vendor MB Events did a fantastic job turning the vast multi-purpose building into an elegant wedding venue.
So many Autumn details were on hand that I immediately got to work photographing them as well as the couple’s getting ready photos.

Getting Ready
Next on our agenda was an epic first look at the covered bridge in the wooded area of the Crown Point fairgrounds. Their beloved dogs witnessed the moment as well as family and wedding party. We then took Fall wedding photos amongst the trees before making our way lakeside.

We did a few portraits inside the Industrial Building before guests arrived for the indoor Fall wedding ceremony. Just like the reception area, the ceremony site looked impeccable with bales of hay and a rustic wedding arch.

Reception
I had previously photographed wedding receptions at other buildings on the Lake County Fairgrounds so i wasn’t quite sure what could be done with the vastness of the Industrial Building. It turns out it provides a great amound of elbow room for dancing and other fun wedding activities.
The dinner was catered by The BBQs with music by Weddings by Eric Jeager.

As you may have noticed at the start of this post, sunset wedding photos were in order as we stepped outside of the Industrial Building with the lake behind us.
