Luke and Valerie had a lovely church wedding at Faith United Reformed Church with a reception at The Barn and Vineyard wedding venue, both in Beecher, Illinois.
This November day saw gale force winds that forced us to photograph inside for most of the day. The rustic wedding venue has great wooden textures on the inside with string lights for backgrounds so no issues there.
We did venture out after the ceremony for a few images where it was literally difficult to hold onto the camera and luckily Valerie’s hair was in a tight updo.
We started with getting ready photos of the bride and groom in the respective suites of Barn and Vineyard and we also had a first look with Dad as well as a peek-a-boo shot of our bride and groom.

Ceremony
I love the architecture of Faith United Reform Church and made sure to include it in my photos during the ceremony as well as during the church wedding portraits afterwards.
The altar, lobby and pews were decorated for Fall although temps and outside wind gusts were screaming winter at us. We were able to pull off a sparkler exit in an outside area blocked by the wind and our newlyweds drove off soon after they made their way through the throng of well wishers.

Reception
The reception at Barn and Vineyard was decorated with pumpkins against its naturally rustic walls and desserts were plentiful. Our newlyweds were greeted with Star Wars light sabers during their entrance and the dance floor was packed all night.
