Wedding At Carmelite Fathers and County Line Orchard
The Fall wedding season in Northwest Indiana has been incredibly busy again. It culminated with Robert and Kasey’s Polish and American church wedding ceremony at Carmelite Fathers and a barn reception at County Line Orchard.
The couple assembled an A-list of Northwest Indiana wedding vendors:
Hair: Enve Salon | MUA: Krissy V. | Video - Joel from 27 Entertainment | Dress: Catherine’s Bridal | DJ - Matt from 27E | Florist: Brides and Blooms
Getting Ready
I was greeted by the warm smile of our bride, Kasey, as I entered Enve Salon. It was a whirlwind of activity, but I knew it would be a great day with Kasey’s bridesmaids working hard for her, and the flower girls did NOT run away from my cameras! :)
The guy’s chilled at Hampton Inn in Crown Point, Indiana and a traditional Polish bread and salt blessing was performed for the groom by his Dad.
Ceremony At Carmelite Fathers
I have photographed wedding ceremonies at Carmelite Fathers in Munster, Indiana, many times, and capturing the traditional architecture in addition to all the moments is always on my mind. I especially got to do this during the portraits right after the ceremony.
Golden Hour Wedding Portraits
It’s always great to get portraits of my couple during the coveted golden hour period, and we were able to do just this after we finished our church portraits. I had lots of laughs with the spirited wedding party, and we ended with some incredibly romantic wedding photos of the bride and groom at sunset.
After arriving at County Line Orchard in Hobart, Indiana, we immediately did additional portraits of our bride in the spectacular bridal suite located in the grain silo. Kasey looked stunning and remarked that she had been eying up a photo like this on my website portfolio for quite some time.
We also brought Robert in, who looked like he walked out of the pages of GQ for a few images. Then, it was time for the party.
Wedding Reception At County Line Orchard
Kasey and Robert’s barn reception was filled with mementos as decor, along with homemade Polish pastries, cornhole games, and more.
A sparkler exit occurred in the middle of the evening, and then it was back in for dancing and desserts.
