I have an entire page detailing my video offerings, but I thought it might be beneficial to describe my most popular add-on to my photo packages, The Short Film, in more depth.
Photo and video hybrid coverage is for those who want video representation of their wedding day without the hoopla of a big production with multiple cameras, audio, and dedicated videographers.
Here is how it works:
Before the wedding day, I will send you a Music Style Request form.
As I photograph the wedding day, I seamlessly go back and forth between photo and video.
Short video snippets are recorded, from bridal prep to reception dancing, representing every portion of the day on video.
As I edit your wedding photos, my video editor combines all of the footage into a 3-minute video set to music.
The Short Film will be delivered at the same time as all of your images and will be downloadable via your online gallery, along with all of the images.
If you have a package with the Presentation Box, the Short Film will be delivered in there and a digital download.
The Pros of the Short Film (hybrid coverage) are:
A fun, short video of your day that is easily viewed by guests and family who will not get bored.
Easy to share on social media or view within the wedding gallery.
The most economical way to have a video of your day.
A wedding video that you will want to view on anniversaries and/or show to future generations.
The Cons:
Your ceremony will not be captured in full and no audio is included.
Your reception speeches and first dances will not be filmed in their entirety.
No drone footage or multiple angles of the same scene.
For those who prefer long-form videos with multiple angles, audio, full ceremony, etc., then ask me about a dedicated videographer. I’m, first and foremost, your photographer, but I’m here to help with your video needs, no matter your preference.
I’m embedding some recent Short Films here on this page. Enjoy, and don't hesitate to get in touch with me with any other questions or if you’d like to add hybrid coverage to your photo package.
