Warren and Emily’s summer wedding at The Pavilion At Sandy Pines in Demotte, Indiana, had everything going for it - wonderful candid moments, emotional first looks, a fun wedding party, supportive families, and more. This made for a great showcase of the hybrid photo / video coverage that I do. Of course, it could not have hurt that every time I turned around there was another great wedding moment to be captured.

Before showing the Short Film of Emily and Warren’s big day, let’s look at getting ready in the spectacular bridal suite.

The bride and groom both read letters to each other and opened gifts. We then had a first look with the bride and her Dad and finally, an emotional first look of the bride and groom.

We went to some of my favorite spots around the beautifully landscaped golf course, but I also love to photograph bridal portraits inside the suite.

Ceremony

After family group photos, guests began to arrive for the ceremony. An artist was on hand painting a canvas of the scene (see the video above), and the family was ready with flower pellets to serenade the newlyweds as they exited the pavilion area.

Reception

The Pavilion At Sandy Pines in Demotte, Indiana, features “open air’ wedding receptions. This means there is a roof but the sides are open. This gives the entire wedding celebration an outdoor patio vibe but with the elegance of a reception venue.

Desserts were PLENTIFUL, and I may or may not have indulged in a few snacks just before dancing began for the evening.
