Wedding At The Poplar Barn At White Oak Farm Venue
Fall is the most popular season for weddings in the Midwest, and you will see why as I sneak peek a variety of images from Becca and Dylan’s October wedding at White Oak Farm Venue.
Their outdoor ceremony and reception were at the more intimate of the two barns on the property. You can’t go wrong with either spot, but I do love the Poplar Barn's gray exterior and multiple windows.
Let’s go inside for bridal prep photos before I take you through the rest of their day.

The groomsmen got ready at a local beach motel before arriving to the venue and joining the bridesmaids in the bridal suite loft for a champagne toast.

The couple wrote their vows into two leather-bound books and handed them to each other to read silently. We then made our way outside for their big reveal, and then it was off to take photographs amongst all of the Fall colors and Autumn leaves that surrounded the vast property.

One of the great benefits of the Poplar Barn is the ability to have an outdoor wedding ceremony in nature with or without being covered from the elements. Becca and Dylan had clear skies, but the option was available for an area with an overhang to protect from rain yet still be outside.

The wedding reception had dinner inside with the dance floor moved to the outdoors where guests could dance underneath the stars and/or in the adjacent covered area.
It was an incredibly fun night, with Arrested Sounds providing the soundtrack.
