Thornton Distilling Company is a rustic wedding venue in Illinois and is quickly becoming a favorite Chicago area wedding venue that is also in close vicinity to Northwest Indiana wedding clients.

I’m sure Chloe and Jeremy chose it for it’s old world charm, craft spirits and old and modern cocktails. Oh, and the bridal suite and groom’s quarters are spectacular - great size and comfortable. They could be event spaces of their own.

First Look and Portraits

Jeremy waited for Chloe in the loft courtyard of the distillery and they experienced a wonderful, emotional and private moment of seeing each for the first time on wedding day. We then made our way all around the rustic wedding venue taking wedding portraits of the happy couple.

There are many unique wedding photo opportunities around the historic building and we even utilized the “haunted cellar”. Boo!!

Ceremony

Family and friends gathered inside the main ballroom for the ceremony which was followed by congratulatory hugs, cocktail hour and dinner and dancing in the same room.

Reception

The ballroom was decorated by the mother of the bride and she really transformed it into the Chloe and Jeremy show with lots of florals, a shoe game, a personal cake for the bride and groom and more.

The dancing was off the charts and if you need to call 911 on the dance floor, DJ Yolonda Vaughn had you covered with a gigantic 1980’s style cell phone.
