Indian weddings are known for their vibrant and elaborate celebrations, which are rich in cultural significance and filled with joy and festivity. Here are some of the reasons why I love being a photographer for Indian weddings:

Cultural Diversity: Each region and community in India has unique customs and traditions, resulting in a wide variety of wedding rituals.

: Indian weddings often span several days, with various ceremonies and events leading up to the main wedding day.

Mehendi Ceremony: In this joyous pre-wedding event, the bride and female guests apply intricate henna designs to their hands and feet.

Baraat Procession: The groom's arrival with a lively procession.

Sacred Rituals: Ceremonies like the Saat Phere (seven vows around the sacred fire) hold deep spiritual and cultural significance.

Family Involvement: Weddings emphasize family bonds, with many rituals involving the participation of close relatives.

Symbolic Traditions: Rituals like the Kanyadaan (giving away of the bride) and Mangalsutra (sacred necklace) symbolize love, commitment, and unity.

Extravagant Jewelry: Brides often wear elaborate jewelry made of gold, diamonds, and precious stones.

Sangeet Night: A music and dance night where families perform and celebrate together.

Cultural Performances: Traditional dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and Garba are performed to celebrate the occasion.

Vibrant Music and Dance: Traditional and contemporary music, along with lively dance performances, keep the energy high.
