Caitlin and Justin are fans of the Indiana Dunes and The Spa in Porter, Indiana was the perfect spot for them to celebrate nature with friends and family on their big day.

We began the morning with the couple getting ready before their first look behind the hotel in front of their favorite swing.

Caitlin and Justin like the quaintness of the old swing set outside the Spa so we did their first look in this area with the glorious nature of the trees that surround the Indiana Dunes.

We wanted to capture the wonderful nature backgrounds surrounding The Spa, but we also couldn’t resist some indoor photos in one of the hotel’s lounging rooms.

Ceremony

The wedding ceremony was held inside the events center before the fireplace. Caitlin and Justin had a sealed treasure chest where they placed some of their favorite items and their vows to be opened in the future. To commemorate Justin’s work in law enforcement, the handcuffs bound them together before exiting the aisle.

Reception

The reception featured a fun trivia game about the couple where guests could win prizes. Dancing was on hand with music courtesy of Amplified Events, and the back deck was open for those looking to get some air and enjoy the sounds and sights of nature.
