Summer Wedding At Circa 1856

Alec and Tiffany’s summer wedding occurred at Circa 1856, a longtime barn wedding venue in Laporte, Indiana, with a church ceremony at nearby Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel.

Bride and groom prep was at the Circa 1856 bridal cottage with the groom and his crew at the couple’s home.

The choir at Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel sang as guests filed into the quaint building for the Catholic ceremony, which was recited in Latin.

The newlyweds exited to bubbles and sped away in a classic car driven by the best man.

Portraits of the couple, wedding party, and family were taken in the chapel and on the grounds of Circa 1856, with its famous red barn overlooking Johnson Road.

The Circa 1856 reception area is open air with a roof but open sides, giving a summer, outdoor vibe to the party with dancing on the open deck next to the lake.

Guests had an entire dessert room to grab goodies, an area for yard games, benches for chilling, and access to a fire pit for chilly nights.
