Jesse and Kayla had an International wedding of sorts at County Line Orchard as folks from the groom’s native country of Canada visited as well as Kayla’s friends and family who hail from Illinois.

The day started at the venerable barn wedding venue with bridal and groom prep inside the building as rain poured down outside. The day would clear up in mid-afternoon with an outdoor wedding ceremony in the Room of Trees section of the apple orchards.

Besides some emotional moments with her mom, Kayla had two first looks and the soon to be married couple also read letters to each other.

I was very pleased to learn Kayla had secured the bridal grain silo for prep as that gave us the opportunity to take a number of portraits of the bride in her beautiful dress.

The first of our reveals consisted of Kayla and her father and then outside we went for the reveal with Jesse as the rain faded into the distance.

The ceremony had a lemonade stand present along with two long rows of family and friends who had waited a long time for this special moment.

The groom’s father was the officiant and after he pronounced them married it was time for family photos and off to the barn reception.
