Welcome to the summer wedding sneak peek of Megan and Brandon at Aberdeen Manor in Valparaiso, Indiana. It was a day full of sunshine, with two first looks, a garden ceremony, guests dressed in black for an evening of dancing, and a surprise dress change for our bride.

The day started with prep at Aberdeen Inn with a shared suite with the groomsmen on one side and the bridesmaids on the other; Cheri from Top Knot Bridal tended to the beauty as the HMUA.

Brandon received a Les Paul guitar as a wedding gift along with a lift in the air from his groomsmen. it was leading up to the first look he’d have with Megan. However, her Dad got to go first.

First Looks

The reveal of the bride is always exciting for everyone. I had a nice chat with Megan’s Dad as we awaited her arrival. They had a sweet moment together, and then it was the groom’s turn.

Portraits

Portraits of the bride and groom and wedding party were taken near the Aberdeen Inn before we went to Aberdeen Manor for family group photos just before the ceremony. The gorgeous dress is courtesy of Something Blue Bridal Boutique.

Ceremony

Late afternoon ceremonies in the garden at Aberdeen Manor are always lovely. The sun begins to recess behind the trees as guests arrive.

After reading their vows and exchanging rings, the newlyweds did two dips and kisses before entering the venue.

Reception

Arrested Sounds provided the soundtrack, and the ballroom dance floor was PACKED so I had to hold my camera high to capture all those wonderful, happy faces.

Megan changed into a surprise evening dress, and we snuck in a twilight portrait in the garden.
