Capturing Love: A Year of Beautiful Weddings Across Northwest Indiana and Chicago
As the sun sets upon the 2024 wedding season, it’s time for my annual Year In Review. As usual, I did photography (and video) for many Northwest Indiana and Chicago area couples.
To ensure this article is not an endless scroll, I’ve limited the number of images to two per couple. The images are not in chronological order per wedding but curated for many different looks.
I hope it does justice to the wonderful love that was on display this past year and my commitment to capturing beautiful and creative wedding photography. Enjoy!
I was at County Line Orchard quite often in 2024, with four weddings there during the summer. Gabby and Austen flew in from Colorado for their Northwest Indiana barn wedding and brought the Western flair.

I made it back to Circa 1856 for another barn wedding in Laporte, Indiana, with Tiffany and Alec, who bravely manned a canoe while guests looked on.

Emoni and Brandon were looking elegant at the historic Barker Mansion in Michigan City, Indiana.
This past summer, Michelle and Brian had their outdoor wedding ceremony at the iconic Midwest venue County Line Orchard. In addition to photographing the day, I produced a Short Film for them to remember their day in motion. This photo/video hybrid coverage is perfect for couples who want a video of their big day without a large production.
It had been a few years since I last shot a wedding at Cloister In The Woods in Munster, Indiana. It was great to be back with Lexi and Kyle as my clients.
It was also great to be back at Uptown Social, a chic wedding venue in the heart of downtown Michigan City. Lindsey and Brandon walk Franklin St. with me for photos as well as going up to the regal balcony for some portraits.

The year in weddings would not be complete without at least one stop at Aberdeen Manor and Ballroom in Valparaiso, Indiana, for Nicole and Jake’s summer weddings.
A military wedding took place at County Line Orchard for Amanda and Tyler’s summer celebration.
