Chicago Sessions Engagement Revisited

It's certainly been a mild winter here in Northwest Indiana and I anticipate an early Spring. This is the perfect time to throw on a stylish peacoat or leather jacket and travel to Chicago for an engagement photo shoot. This is also the perfect time for me to revisit what The Chicago Sessions are all about. Beginning today, there are now two versions of this timeless and romantic photo package.
First, let's go over the concept of the session. The idea is to give you romantic images of a day spent in the big city. All of the photographs are shot in color and then turned into black and white after the fact. These aren't just "one click" adjustments either. We add grain and tones to give your engagement photos the look and feel of old film.

I advise to dress in classic clothing for a timeless look. Sometimes there are images that scream color photo though. This is why all of the pictures taken on your day will have two galleries - color and black and white.

This is our most beloved engagement photo package and there are now two versions to choose from. They both will have 3 - 4 hours of photography with a total of apprimately 5 hours spent in the windy city. We begin shooting at the South Shore train platform and continue onto the train and around the city. A Custom Designed 7x7 hardcover book comes with the package along with an 8x10 Professional Print. These are great to show off at the reception hall for your guest to peruse as they arrive and sign your guest book.
Here is the inside of the new brochure that details the two versions.

You will notice that there is now an option to receive all of your images in digital format as well as the book. As always, an online gallery is available for viewing and ordering of professional prints.
Don't think you need to wait until summer for engagement photos, a cool pre-Spring day is perfect for black and white images in the city.
